The vision of Akoona was concieved in 2007 when, under the starry skies of the Caribbean Sea with a warm Margarita in hand, we realized that the ice industry was dreadfully inefficient and the availability of quality ice was marginal at best.  It was clear to us that ice needed to be pure, fresh and on-demand.  Since that night we have developed and patented the most reliable ice making and vending station on the planet.  Welcome to the beginning of the ice revolution.  Welcome to Akoona.

ICE:

The Akoona Vend Station represents a giant leap forward in the ice industry.  It makes and dispenses pure filtered ice directly into you own cooler or into a bag available for purchase at the machine. Your product has never been touched by human hands and has not traveled around for half a day inside a gas guzzling ice truck.   You will find that Akoona ice is cleaner, tastes better, is more convenient, and is drastically more environmentally friendly than factory bagged ice.

WATER:

The Akoona Vend Station utilizes an Everpure © filtration system that removes particles as small as half a micron and virtually eliminates chlorine and other chemicals through carbon filtration.  Water wasn’t the reason we started this business, but when your ice is this pure why not offer the unfrozen version too!  Bring your own empty water container and take home some of the very best filtered water you can buy.
